Henri Rousseau’s Virginia Labrador Created by: Kitty Dodd Made possible by support from: Virginia Donelson Studios Inspired by the bold colors and imaginative jungle landscapes of Henri Rousseau, this one-of-a-kind Labrador brings a vibrant, whimsical scene to life. Dogwood blossoms trail across the shoulder, a cardinal perches among the greenery, and two white rabbits leap through the underbrush. At the center, a black Labrador blends into the foliage, much like the animals hidden within Rousseau’s jungle scenes. The design celebrates the Labrador Retrievers at the heart of Service Dogs of Virginia and the independence, confidence, and connection they help bring to the people they serve.
